How big is the star Centaurus compared to our sun?

That star is enormously larger than our own sun. As illustrated, it would take hundreds of thousands of our suns to equal the size of the star Centaurus. The exact figure is not given, since the speaker admits he does not remember how many hundreds of thousands.

Les uses the size of the sun and the star Centaurus to illustrate the eternalness and infiniteness of God. He notes that our solar system's sun is so huge that it would take a million, 300,000 of our planet earths to equal its size. Then he points out that the star Centaurus out there is so much bigger again than our sun that it would take hundreds of thousands of our suns to equal it in size, though he admits he doesn't remember the exact number. He applies this to the infinite God and to eternity, saying these things are beyond human comprehension and boggle the mind. What little we can comprehend, he says, we appropriate by faith, and this is not some far-out kooky stuff dreamed up by someone by a campfire.
