What did Jesus say in John's Gospel about having the Son and condemnation?

In John’s Gospel, Jesus taught that the one who has the Son has life, while the one who does not have the Son does not have life; condemnation already rests on him. Condemnation rests upon every son of Adam, because all are born sinners in Adam’s race.

Les explains, looking back to John’s Gospel, that Jesus said, “He that hath the Son hath life, he who hath not the Son hath not life,” and condemnation is already resting on the one who lacks the Son. Les ties this to Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation,” noting that condemnation rests upon every son of Adam because we are born sinners in the Adamic race. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and all are under condemnation, but the Gospel makes the difference, so now there is no condemnation.
