What are we supposed to do when we see Satan's adulterations of the gospel?

When encountering Satan's adulterations of the gospel, believers are to always look beyond those adulterations and focus on the truth of Scripture, which centers on Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. The corruptions should not distract from the foundational gospel message.

Les explains that Satan was given an option to adulterate the gospel message, but believers are not to dwell on those corruptions. Instead, they are to look beyond Satan's adulterations and look at the truth of Scripture. That truth is that everything is wrapped up in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Les also notes that God saturated nature with the pattern of death, burial, and resurrection—seen in the seasons, winter's dormancy, and spring's new life—so that even creation reminds us of this central truth. Therefore, when we see Satan's adulterations, we acknowledge them but focus on the scriptural truth of the death, burial, and resurrection.
