Is there a guarantee that Israel will never disappear?
Yes, Scripture guarantees that the nation of Israel will never fade off the scene. Satan continues trying to disrupt God's program by getting rid of Israel and the Jew, but God's Word ensures Israel's enduring presence. Prophecy centers on that little nation, so Israel will not disappear.
Les explains that Scripture has guaranteed this nation will never fade off the scene. He notes that Satan is still trying to disrupt God's total program by getting rid of the nation of Israel and the Jew. Even reports such as 52% of Jewish marriages being mixed marriages do not shake his confidence because of that guarantee. He points to Matthew 24:32-34, the parable of the fig tree, where Jesus says when the branch is tender and puts forth leaves, summer is near, a prophetic picture of Christ's return. He also clarifies that 'this generation' does not mean a generation in time like 40, 50, or 60 years.
