Will believers ever be judged for their sins at the judgment seat?
No. At the judgment seat of Christ, believers are judged not for salvation and never to answer for sin. That judgment concerns reward for what they have built as believers. Their works are tested by fire, and only what survives determines eternal responsibilities in the kingdom.
Les teaches that believers will come before the judgment seat of Christ, but this is not to be judged for salvation and never to answer for sin. Instead, they will answer for reward. In the Christian life, believers are builders who build with six materials: gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, and stubble. Three withstand fire; three burn up. At that judgment, Christ's fiery eyes penetrate the whole Christian record, testing every person's work of what sort it is. When the testing is finished, only gold, silver, and precious stones remain. On that basis God gives reward for eternity, which Les suggests will be responsibilities given in the kingdom. This has nothing to do with the crowns.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
