Where does the Bible explain the imputed, covering clothing of righteousness that Adam and Eve experienced?

The passage is Isaiah 61:10, where the speaker rejoices that God has clothed him with the garments of salvation and covered him. That imputed, covering clothing of God's righteousness is exactly what Adam and Eve experienced, and Romans likewise speaks of Christ's righteousness placed upon all.

Les teaches that Adam and Eve now had an imputed righteousness that clothed them. He takes us to Isaiah 61, especially verse 10, and says it explains beautifully exactly what Adam and Eve experienced, even as Isaiah did: an imputed, covering clothing of God's righteousness. Isaiah rejoices that God hath clothed him with the garments of salvation and hath covered him. Les connects this with Romans, which says God has placed the righteousness of Christ unto all and upon all, so it covers us. He illustrates salvation as bringing somebody out of a destitute place, like a bankrupt man saved by a rich uncle's inheritance.

Isaiah 61:10

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
