When was Paul commissioned to preach to the Gentiles?
Paul was commissioned to preach to the Gentiles right at his conversion at Damascus. When God spoke to Ananias, He said He would send this man far hence to the Gentiles. Later God took him into the desert and gave him revelations, but the commission began immediately at his Damascus conversion.
Les teaches that Paul's commissioning was not delayed; it happened right away at his conversion at Damascus. God told Ananias, "I'm going to send this man far hence" to the Gentiles. Then God took Paul out in the desert and gave him His revelations. Paul later refers to this in Galatians chapter 1, explaining that by revelation God made known unto this man all these things that would come from his pen and are not found anywhere else in the Bible.
