What did Paul mean when he said he was born before the due time?
Paul meant he was a sample or preview of what the nation of Israel would later experience, born ahead of the due time by 1900 and some years. He was the sampling that came early, and Israel will yet experience what he experienced.
Les teaches that Paul's phrase “I am as one who was born before the due time” means Paul was a sampling that came 1900 and some years ahead of the nation of Israel's future experience. Israel is still going to experience what Paul experienced, but Paul is the early sample. This connects to Paul calling himself the least of the apostles because he persecuted the church, and in Ephesians 3:8 he calls himself less than the least of all saints. Les ties this to Jesus' words that the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John, identifying Paul as that least one.
