Les Feldick Bible Study

Are all the words in Paul's letters really inspired by God, even the small grammatical words?

Every word written by Paul is Holy Spirit inspired, down to the smallest grammatical words. There is no word, not even a simple article, written by Paul or any biblical writer that is not exactly what God intended. Inspiration extends to every word, not merely the major ideas.

Les explains, in the context of 1 Corinthians 15, that every word Paul writes is Holy Spirit inspired. He stresses that there is not a single word, not even a simple article, written from the pen of Paul or any other biblical writer that is not exactly as God wanted it. Thus the inspiration covers even the smallest grammatical words, not only the broader message. He also counsels that if a portion of Scripture seems like a stone wall, don't wrestle with it; leave it for the time being, and in time the Lord will open it up.
