How did God start moving the gospel toward the Gentile world before Acts 11?

God began moving the gospel toward the Gentiles by saving Saul; then He accelerated it by sending Peter to Cornelius. After Saul returned from three years of learning and the revelation of the mysteries, Jewish believers who had preached only to Jews began speaking to Greeks, and the Lord's hand was with them.

Les teaches that God started the ball rolling toward the Gentile world when He saved Saul, and then He speeded it up when He sent Peter up to Cornelius. By the time Saul had come back from his three years of learning and the revelation of the mysteries, the stage was set to get the Gospel out to the Gentiles. The Jews who had been preaching to Jew only now began to speak to Greeks and preach the Lord Jesus. That was a change in venue and modus operandi. The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned unto the Lord. Les also notes the distinction between Grecians, Jews not native to Palestine, and Greeks, who are Gentiles.
