Les Feldick Bible Study

What is the whole Bible about, according to Les?

The whole Bible is about God's plan of salvation. Beginning in Genesis, as soon as man fell, God began to put a plan of salvation on the human race, because He is not willing that any should perish, though the specific instructions have not always been the same.

Les teaches that the overriding theme of the whole Bible is salvation. He points to 2 Peter 3:15, where Peter says the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation, and asks whether that is what the whole book is about. From Genesis onward, after man fell, God began to put a plan of salvation on the human race. Les notes that this plan has not always been the same: Cain and Abel did not understand crucifixion, but Abel did what God said to do; Moses and the Law did not understand the Gospel that Christ died for our sins, but they did what God told them to do. The constant is God's unwillingness that any should perish.
