How does Psalm 68:1 connect to Stephen's testimony?

Psalm 68:1 calls for God to arise and scatter His enemies. In Stephen's testimony, this pictured the risen Christ having left His seated position and being ready to come, a truth that angered the Jewish hearers rather than producing conviction.

Les explains that Psalm 68:1 says, "Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered. Let them also that hate Him flee before Him." He notes that God the Son is God just as much as the Father and the Spirit. This is what Stephen was talking about: Christ had now arisen from His seated position and was ready to come. The next verse describes enemies driven away like smoke and the wicked melting like wax before fire. Israel knew they were not ready, and instead of conviction and godly fear, it aroused their anger. Then the study returns to Acts chapter 7.
