Who does Peter blame for the crucifixion in Acts?

Peter places the blame for the crucifixion on the nation of Israel. In Acts he repeatedly charges the Jewish nation with crucifying their Messiah, though they precipitated it. Yet Scripture also shows the whole human race is guilty, as the kings and people consort together.

Les explains that Peter, in Acts, over and over lays the blame for the crucifixion on the Jewish nation, and they did precipitate it. Les stresses he is not anti-Semitic in pointing this out. Peter deals with Israel on covenant ground, showing they should have known better and rejected the one God sent to fulfill the Abrahamic covenant. Still, Les reminds that Psalms 2:1 says the kings of the earth and the people consort together, so the whole human race is guilty of crucifying the Messiah. When the hearers were pricked in their heart, the Spirit was convicting them.
