How many days after Passover was the day of Pentecost?

Pentecost fell on the fiftieth day after Passover. After Christ's crucifixion at Passover, He appeared for forty days in His post-resurrection ministry, then the disciples waited another ten days, bringing them to the fiftieth day, when the day of Pentecost was fully come.

Les explains that the setting is Acts chapter 2, where Christ had just been crucified at the time of Passover and the disciples were waiting for Pentecost, which would be the fiftieth day. He notes that for forty days Jesus was with them in His post-resurrection ministry, and then they waited another ten days, bringing them to the fiftieth day. Pentecost was one of the seven Jewish feast days, when Jews from the then-known world came to Jerusalem, and the Temple was still operating.
