What type of feast is Pentecost according to Leviticus 23?

Pentecost is one of the seven feasts of Jehovah listed in Leviticus 23, a Jewish feast day. It falls on the fiftieth day after Passover, following the counting of seven complete sabbaths plus one day. It became a yearly feast practiced throughout Israel’s history.

Les teaches that when you come to Leviticus 23, Pentecost is the next feast after Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits. It required counting from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day the sheaf of the wave offering was brought, seven sabbaths complete—49 days—then the next day, making 50. The word Pentecost arises from that fiftieth day after Passover, and it was one of the seven feasts practiced year in and year out throughout Israel’s history.
