Where was Saul of Tarsus saved according to this account?
He was saved by grace outside the land of Palestine, on Gentile ground. The account states God converted him completely apart from any prospect of being a man of God, then took him into the desert for three years of seminary training before sending him to the Gentiles with a new program.
Les teaches that after Israel miffed the opportunity and rejected the message, God converted another Jew, old Saul of Tarsus, and saved him by grace outside the land of Palestine on Gentile ground. God took him down into the desert for three years and seminary trained him between the Glorified Lord and old Saul himself. Then He sent him not to the Jew but to the Gentile with a whole new program. Les notes this was completely out of any prospect for being a man of God, and he says they would come to that later.
