How do the book numbers correspond to the tape numbers in this program series?

Each six-hour tape contains twelve half-hour programs and is numbered sequentially. Each tape is transcribed into one book, so the book numbers match the tape numbers: tape one becomes book one, tape two becomes book two, and so forth. This is how the series is organized.

Les explains that the videotapes are made up of twelve succeeding programs, twelve half-hour programs on one six-hour tape. The first such tape is called tape number one; the next twelve programs form tape number two, and so forth. Each of these individual six-hour tapes is transcribed into one book. Therefore tape number one is also book number one, and so forth. He adds that he is amazed by the response from both the tapes, and now the books are catching on. Those who have not looked at one of the books are invited to try one; a gift of five or six dollars is asked only to cover the cost, not to make anything on them.
