What is the holy place that Christ entered?

The holy place Christ entered is Heaven itself - the very throne room or presence of God, not an earthly tabernacle made with hands. He entered once for all by His own blood, not the blood of goats and calves, and obtained eternal redemption.

Les explains from Hebrews 9:11-12 that Christ came as a high priest of good things to come by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, not of this building. His tabernacle and place of sprinkling would not be on earth but in Heaven. He entered once, not once a year, into the holy place - the very throne room or presence of God - by His own blood, obtaining eternal redemption for us. Les also connects this to Hebrews 6:20 and 7, where Jesus is the forerunner who entered, made a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, not after the order of Aaron.

Hebrews 9:12

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
