When did God lose the human race?
God lost the human race when Adam fell. At that fall, humanity came under sin, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Immediately afterward God put the process of redemption in motion to buy us back, and the price was His own blood.

The first step for salvation is recognizing our need and seeing ourselves as God sees us.
