Les Feldick Bible Study

What did Christ's suffering accomplish for our access to God?

Christ's suffering in the body of flesh opened the way for mankind to enter the Throne Room of Heaven. It ended the need for the high priest's once-a-year access; believers can now come boldly before God because of what He accomplished.

Les teaches that the suffering of the Body of Flesh made it possible for mankind to come into the very Throne Room of Heaven. This access was not limited to the High Priest entering once a year; Paul teaches that believers can now come boldly into the Throne Room because of what has been accomplished. The veil was rent from the top to the bottom, indicating that by God's own act the way in had been opened up. Les notes that the Jews sewed it back up and continued their temple worship, never realizing what had caused the veil to rent, and so into Acts that veil was again intact.
