How long will the tribulation last after the peace treaty is signed?

Once the peace treaty is signed with Israel, the tribulation period lasts seven years. The treaty begins a seven-year countdown, consisting of seven distinct scriptural calendar years. In the middle of that seven-year week, the Antichrist stops Israel's sacrifice and oblation, dividing the seven years at its midpoint.

Les explains that when this individual, coming up out of the European community, the revived Roman Empire, signs a peace treaty with Israel, God's time clock kicks back into gear. Up until then, God's clock had stopped during the church age, an undetermined period no one can set a date on. Once the treaty is signed, there will be seven years—seven distinct calendar years, scriptural years, with a year being twelve 30-day months, or 360 days. In the middle of those seven years, this one called the Antichrist will cause the sacrifice and oblation to stop. Since Jewish sacrifices could only be offered at the temple, this means a temple must exist, and Jesus said they would have it. He will also cause an abomination and make the temple desolate.
