What happens to Israel's spiritual blindness after the rapture of the church?
Israel’s spiritual blindness is only partial and temporary. It continues until the fullness of the Gentiles is brought in, the body of Christ is completed, and the church is removed; then God resumes His dealings with Israel, their blindness comes to an end, and they begin again a spiritual relationship with Jehovah God.
Les teaches that Israel’s blindness was a secret kept in God’s mind while God spends some 1900 years calling out Gentiles. Israel is in spiritual blindness, and this blindness in part is not forever but only until the fullness of the Gentiles has been brought in. The fullness of the Gentiles is the body of Christ; when the body is finally filled, the last person is saved, and the church is removed—as Les teaches the rapture—God picks up where He left off with Israel, the Jew. Then their spiritual blindness more or less comes to an end, and they begin again to have a spiritual relationship with their Jehovah God. Isaiah had spoken of their blindness, but it was not tied to this Gentile period. Les also notes there are three “untils” Jesus refers to, including Matthew 23, where they would not see Him, He would be moved from their midst, and He would go back to glory.
