Who were the apostles to the Jews and who was the apostle to the Gentiles?

Peter and the eleven were the apostles to the Jews, while Paul came on the scene as the apostle to the Gentiles. This distinction shows that Jesus dealt with the Jew through Peter and the eleven, but Paul’s ministry was to the Gentiles.

Les teaches that Jesus was dealing with the Jew, and Peter and the eleven are the apostles of the Jew. Paul then comes on the scene as the apostle of the Gentiles. He emphasizes that these things cannot be mixed together and still make sense; they must be left exactly where they are. Later, Paul writes to the Corinthians, who were Gentiles, and speaks of the love of Christ constraining us because one died for all.
