If the disciples had known Jesus would be resurrected, where would they have been on Sunday morning?

Had they understood Jesus would be raised from the dead, the eleven disciples would have been outside the tomb on Sunday morning, waiting to see the resurrection happen. Scripture says they did not know; it was hidden from them, so they were not gathered at the tomb expecting Him to rise.

Les explains that Jesus told the disciples more than once He would go up, be crucified, and rise from the dead, yet God never opened their eyes to it. The saying was hidden from them, and they did not know what was spoken. Because they did not understand the resurrection, none of the eleven expected Him to be back among the living on Sunday morning. Les says that if they had understood He was going to be raised, they would all have been outside the tomb, waiting to see it happen. The resurrection-morning account illustrates this: Mary Magdalene came to anoint the corpse, found the body gone, and ran to tell Peter and John that someone had stolen the body. Peter and John then ran to the sepulcher, with John outrunning Peter and arriving first, but he was more timid.
