What does the Hebrew word olam teach about God hiding secrets?

The Hebrew word olam, used of deity, means the everlasting God possesses the sovereign capability to keep things secret until His appointed time to reveal them. It teaches that God intentionally withholds certain truths, totally unrevealed, until He sees fit to disclose them.

Les teaches that the Hebrew term olam, associated with the everlasting God, shows that God has the sovereign capability of keeping things secret until it is His time to reveal them. The same thought is that God sees fit to keep certain things totally unrevealed until it is time to reveal them. Les connects this to Ephesians 3, where Paul writes that by revelation the mystery or secret of Christ was made known—something that had never been revealed before and that no one else before had ever had an inkling of.
