What will an unbeliever experience at the Great White Throne?
At the Great White Throne, an unbeliever is brought to answer for what he has done in the flesh. He will see the record, then go to his doom. Scripture indicates degrees of punishment, so a milder person suffers less than a vicious criminal.
Les explains that after the thousand years, everyone is brought to answer for what they have done in the flesh, and the Great White Throne is for unbelievers. Believers already had their judgment or rewards given out shortly after the Rapture. At the Great White Throne, every lost individual is brought to a place where he will see the record, and he will go to his doom. Les also teaches that there will be degrees of punishment: a person who lived a good life and thought he was doing all right will not suffer as much as the vicious criminal. He points to Jesus' earthly ministry, when Jesus said Capernaum would face a more tolerable judgment for Sodom and Gomorrah than for Capernaum, because had Sodom and Gomorrah witnessed what Capernaum witnessed, they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes.
