When does the remnant of Israel flee to the mountains?

The remnant of Israel flees to the mountains at the midpoint of the Tribulation. They go down into the mountains southeast of Jerusalem, where God protects them for three and a half years, as Jesus Himself describes in Matthew 24.

Les explains that at the midpoint of the seven-year Tribulation, a whole remnant of Israel went down into the mountains southeast of Jerusalem. He points to Matthew 24, where Jesus Himself speaks of it. The remnant will remain in this protected area, and God will take care of them for three and a half years, just as He cared for the nation of Israel during their 40 years in the wilderness. At His second coming, they finally become believers as a nation and become the seed stock of the nation of Israel entering the Kingdom.
