When and how will the Russian or Northern Confederation be destroyed in the tribulation?

Les teaches that the Russian or Northern Confederation of Nations will invade Israel shortly after the treaty is made. This invasion is contrary to the Antichrist’s idea. God will destroy them on the hills of Israel, making it a quick removal of those nations as enemies of Israel. After that, as the seven-year period moves on, the seals bring destruction—one-fourth of the human population—and by the midpoint the two witnesses are killed, lie in Jerusalem’s streets three days, are brought back to life, and ascend, with the world seeing it through technology and satellite communication. At the midpoint, the Antichrist comes from his headquarters in Europe into the temple, defiles it, and forces Jews to worship him as God.
