What happens to Satan at the end of the millennium?

At the end of the thousand years, Satan is released for a short time to deceive the nations and gather them for battle. Fire from God devours them, and Satan is cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where he is tormented day and night forever.

Les explains that after the thousand-year millennium, Satan is released for a little while—its exact length unknown, possibly several years in God's timing. During that short period he deceives the multitudes of the nations, including Gog and Magog and those from the four quarters of the earth, using the lie: 'Granted you've had it good, but wouldn't you rather be like God?' They fall for it. As their rebellion mounts, God moves in, and they are simply zapped off the scene. Fire comes down from God out of heaven and devours them; they are wiped off the scene. Then, in verse 10, the devil who deceived them is cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the antichrist and the false prophets—the religious and political leaders—already are. There they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. Les stresses there is no annihilation; it is a continuing thing, contrary to anyone who says they will not stay there long or will be burned up.

Revelation 20:10

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
