What does Les Feldick say about those who oppose an earthly kingdom?
Those who oppose an earthly kingdom stand rigidly against it, spiritualizing the Scriptures so everything about the Kingdom is spiritual. They refuse to accept the Bible’s teaching of a literal, physical, political, earthly kingdom. Their material is read carefully to know where they are coming from.
Les explains that he has become aware, from class people and from letters or phone calls, that some stand so rigidly against the concept of an earthly kingdom. They have spiritualized the Scriptures, treating everything pertaining to the Kingdom as spiritual, and consequently refuse to accept that the Bible teaches a literal, physical, yes political, earthly kingdom. As he said in the last program, that kingdom will include the animal kingdom, families, and tremendous reproduction beginning with believing parents. Les makes no apology for reading all the opposition. He compares it to a football coach studying films of the next opponent, and he reads materials such as the Book of Mormon, bits and pieces of the Koran, Armstrong’s writings, and Jehovah’s Witnesses material because he wants to know where they are coming from. The same is true of those contrary to and in opposition to the earthly kingdom and Christ’s Second Coming ahead of it.
