What bad things will be absent from the Millennial Kingdom?
During the Millennial Kingdom, death, sickness, the curse, and Satan will be absent. There will be no hurting or destroying in His holy mountain, and no death to speak of. Christ will exercise total control in a perfectly perfect rule and government.
Les explains that after the tribulation, the believing survivors—the sheep of Matthew 25—enter the Kingdom and become parents of the children seen in Isaiah 11. He teaches there will be no death, no sickness, no curse, no Satan, and Christ will be in total control, a perfectly perfect rule and government, leading to a tremendous population explosion. Isaiah 11:9 adds that they will not hurt or destroy in all His holy mountain—a mountain in the Old Testament especially means a Kingdom—so there will be no hurting, no destroying, and no death to speak of in His Kingdom. The reason given is that the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the water covers the sea. Les then skips to Amos 9 to highlight more references to this earthly Kingdom.
