What do the 144,000 do after being sealed?

After being sealed, the 144,000 go out and proclaim the gospel of the kingdom. The seal protects them so no one can take their lives, but they still suffer privation throughout their ministry during the seven-year period. They are sealed before the earth, sea, and trees are hurt.

Les explains that the angel in Revelation 7:3 commands that the earth, sea, and trees not be hurt until the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads. He compares this seal to the mark God put on Cain so no one could take his life. For the 144,000, the sealing means no one can take their life. After the twelve tribes are listed—12,000 from each tribe—they go out and proclaim the gospel of the kingdom. Les notes they still suffer privation throughout their ministry during the seven-year period, while those who receive the mark of the beast will never succumb to the gospel of the kingdom.

Revelation 7:3

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
