Why was the kingdom prepared for the sheep before the world was created?

God prepared it beforehand because, in His foreknowledge, He knew exactly which Gentiles would hear the Gospel of the Kingdom from the 144,000 and believe. Their inheritance was therefore not an afterthought but was prepared for them before the world was ever created, distinguishing them as believers.

Les explains that the King separates believers from unbelievers as a shepherd divides sheep from goats. The sheep inherit the kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world. This is nothing new, because Ephesians 1 says believers were chosen and in God's mind before the foundation of the world. God in His foreknowledge knew exactly which Gentiles would hear the Gospel of the Kingdom from the 144,000 and believe. So He can honestly say this was prepared for them before the world was ever created. This inheritance did not save them; it distinguished them as believers, shown by their giving food and drink to Jesus.
